Risk & Compliance

Our risk approach is built on transparency, member safeguards, and cooperative governance. We prioritize stability, responsible lending, and data protection.

Loan Risk

Loans require guarantor backing, contribution history review, and committee approval. Repayment schedules are documented and monitored.

Liquidity Risk

Contribution schedules and pool distributions follow pre-agreed timelines to maintain stable cash flow for members.

Operational Risk

Clear processes, role separation, and documented approvals reduce errors and fraud.

Governance Risk

Elections, quorum standards, and transparency reporting ensure decisions remain fair and accountable.

Data Risk

Access controls and data protection practices help safeguard member information.

Compliance Reporting

Member reports, summaries, and committee updates are published through the Transparency Hub.

Issue Escalation

Members can raise concerns through the Secretary’s office. Critical risks are escalated to the Executive Committee and recorded in meeting minutes.

Incident Response

Operational or security incidents are logged, reviewed, and addressed with corrective actions. Members receive updates when incidents impact services or data.

Audit & Review

Periodic reviews assess governance quality, loan health, and process effectiveness. Findings are summarized in the Transparency Hub.
